This system uses a Compass or Lo-Pan to measure the alignment of the dwelling. From this measurement and the birth data of the person or persons, auspicious and inauspicious sectors of the dwelling are identified for each and every person.
Measuring the alignment of a building allows the Feng Shui practitioner to place each resident in their best sectors. Sometimes this can be challenging. There are other important considerations in this system such as bed, stove and door location, placement of staircase, desk, computers, cash register and even toilets.
